MEET MARGRIT
Margrit Strohmaier has created interior designs for residential and commercial properties throughout the United States for over 20 years.
After graduating with honors from New York School of Interior Design and receiving the Ana Blanc Verna Award for Creative Thinking, she has worked for several prestigious architectural/design firms in New York City and CT.
When she moved to Connecticut she started her own interior design firm and has designed an extensive number of versatile projects throughout the country, from the most elegant urban residences, such as the Old Mill Farm estate in Greenwich, formerly owned by Mel Gibson, to casual weekend retreats, city apartments, and innovative corporate interiors.
Growing up in Austria, Margrit has visited many architectural treasures throughout Europe and was moved by its age, stability, charm, and focus on details. All this influenced her decision to become an Interior Designer. Her design philosophy features a refined use of materials, sophisticated color, and strong silhouettes.
